Who we are

Gears+ is equipment-management software for production companies and rental houses. This policy covers the website at gears-plus.app, the web app at app.gears-plus.app, and the Gears+ mobile app. Questions about privacy go to support@gears-plus.app.

Information we collect

When you create a company account or are invited into one, we store:

• Your name, email address, company name, and company phone number.
• A hashed password, your language preference, and an optional profile photo.
• Authenticator setup and backup codes, if you turn on two-factor authentication.
• Equipment records, rental orders, handover and return photos, and photographer contacts you add.
• Plan, invoice, and payment references. Card and wallet networks process the payment; we do not store full card numbers.
• A device token if you allow push notifications on the mobile app.

On this website we also keep basic technical data, such as browser type and an approximate country, so we can show prices in the right currency.

How we use it

We use this information to run the service, keep accounts secure, process subscription payments, send service emails (verification codes, password resets, billing notices, and account-deletion codes), and answer support requests. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Payment providers that you choose at checkout (such as card networks, Qi Card, or Zain Cash) receive what they need to take the payment. Email and hosting providers process messages and files on our behalf. We share information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Company data stays while the account is open. When a company admin deletes the account, we remove the company, its users, equipment, orders, photos, and the billing records stored in Gears+. Payment providers may keep their own transaction records under their policies. See the data deletion page for the steps.

Your choices

You can review and correct your profile in the app. A company admin can delete the whole company from Profile in the web app or the mobile app, after the checks that company has turned on. You can also email support@gears-plus.app.

Children

Gears+ is a business tool. It is not directed at children.
