Today we are launching the new Gears+ website, built for the filmmakers, photographers, studios and production companies who use Gears+ to manage their equipment.
Fully bilingual from day one
The site is available in Arabic and English, and the Arabic version is designed for right-to-left reading from the start rather than translated as an afterthought: layouts, animations and navigation all follow the reading direction. You can switch languages from the menu on any page.
A clearer look at how Gears+ works
As you scroll, the site follows the life of a piece of gear: from the shelf, into a shooting order, through handover on set, and back to the shelf with a documented return. Along the way it shows the parts of Gears+ that teams use every day:
- The equipment inventory with live statuses
- Shooting orders that connect dates, crew and gear
- Handover and return records with photos
- Barcode scanning from any phone
- Reports on usage, gear outside and maintenance
Support in one place
The new contact and support page brings our support and sales channels together, with a form that routes your question to the right person and quick answers to common questions about accounts, teams, barcodes and payments.
A blog for production teams
We are also starting this blog. We will publish practical guides on running an equipment room, from setting up an inventory to a handover checklist you can use on your next shoot, along with Gears+ product news.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted Gears+ with their gear. If you have not tried it yet, you can get started.
